Hornet's life lesson/Lezioni di vita da un calabrone

Physicists say that if you calculate the weight and the wing span of a hornet, he could not fly. But the hornets do not study Physics and so they fly. More simply, to me this hornet only gave the chance to understand how dirty are the glasses in my entrance!!! Thank you so much, hornet.
During the making of these pics no hornets were injured or killed. 
I fisici dicono che se calcolate il peso e l'apertura alare di un calabrone, questo non potrebbe volare. Ma i calabroni non studiano Fisica e quindi volano. Più semplicemente, a me, questo calabrone, ha dato la possibilità di capire quanto fossero sporchi i vetri della mia entrata!!! Grazie mille, calabrone.
Durante la ripresa di queste foto nessun calabrone è stato ferito o ucciso.

Which way have you taken? / Che strada avete preso?

This crossroad is the best way to explain how life is: you have 5 streets to choose. No. 1 is a short way to a wonderful house with a breathtaking view. It seems the better and easier solution, but you have to have the keys and to get the keys you have to be cynical and cruel and come to many compromises. No. 2 is a longer way to a nice little house, with no particular view. Also this could seem a good solution, but looking everyday at the wonderful house on the top, could drive you crazy or depressed. No. 3 is a downhill road to a nice and lonely country house. Also this could seem a good solution if you love quiet and you are willing to accept for the rest of your life that there will be only one road that could lead you to your home. No. 4 is a one-way-street and you will find yourself driving the wrong way. This could seem the silliest thing to do, but sometimes it could happen you could convince the others that is wrong to have one-way-street or even that driving the wrong way is right. No. 5 is a downhill street that leads to another crossroad where you can choose to go wherever you want... this could seem romantic and intriguing, but you have to know that if you decide to take this one you will have to drive forever.
In my life I always thought I've taken the fifth, but discovered, along the way, that I took one of the other fours. That's because the signs were not right...

Questo incrocio è la migliore maniera per spiegare com'è la vita: ci sono 5 strade che puoi scegliere. La numero 1 è una via molto corta che porta ad una meravigliosa villa con una vista stupenda. Sembra la soluzione migliore e più facile, ma dovete avere le chiavi per entrare e per avere le chiavi dovrete essere cinici e crudeli e scendere spesso a compromessi. La numero 2 è una strada un po' più lunga che porta ad una bella e piccola casa, con nessuna vista particolare. Anche questa può sembrare una buona soluzione, ma vedere ogni giorno una meravigliosa villa sopra di voi, può farvi impazzire o deprimere. La numero 3 è una strada in discesa che porta ad una casa bella e solitaria. Anche questa può sembrare una buona soluzione se amate la quiete e accettate che quella sia l'unica strada che per tutta la vita dovrete percorrere per arrivare a casa. La numero 4 è una strada a senso unico che dovrete percorrere contromano. Può sembrare la cosa più stupida da fare, ma talvolta può capitare che convinciate gli altri che le strade a senso unico non vanno bene oppure addirittura che sia giusto percorrerle contromano. La numero 5 è una strada in discesa che porta ad un altro incrocio dove potete decidere di andare dove volete... può sembrare romantico e intrigante, ma dovete sapere che se decidete di prendere questa dovrete guidare per sempre.
In vita mia ho sempre pensato di aver preso la quinta, ma mi sono accorto, durante il viaggio, che avevo preso una delle altre quattro. Questo perchè i segnali erano sbagliati...

World exclusive!!! / Esclusiva mondiale!!!

These are the first pics of an extraordinary happy event: last night this old house has given birth to a nice little house (for the first time in the world, as we know it). We have interviewed the owner who said: "I didn't hear anything, I sleep deeply, I just only see the baby house early this morning. I even didn't know she was pregnant". He said also he is going to donate the baby house to Snowwhite and the seven Dwarfs. We still don't know at the moment, who's the father... stay tuned for more extraordinary news... (Well, I liked these 2 photos, but didn't know how to introduce them to you, so I decided to do this way...    )
Queste sono le prime immagini di uno straordinario lieto evento: l'altra notte questa vecchia casa ha partorito una piccola casa (per la prima volta al mondo, per come lo conosciamo). Abbiamo intervistato il proprietario che ha dichiarato: "Non ho sentito niente, ho il sonno pesante, mi sono accorto della piccola casa stamattina presto. Non sapevo nemmeno che fosse incinta." Ha aggiunto che è sua intenzione donare la piccola casa a Biancaneve e i sette nani. Si ignora al momento chi sia il padre... rimanete con noi per altre notizia straordinarie... (a dire il vero, ste due foto mi piacevano, ma non sapevo come fare per presentarle, allora ho deciso di presentarle così... )

Petrarch's house / La casa di Petrarca

He lived in the 14th century, was one of the most important poet of his age. He wrote in Latin and in Italian and these are some shots of the house were he lived the last years of his life (frescoes and wood ceilings are original). You know, television didn't exist and the rich ones painted their walls in order to have something to watch  So we can say television was something we need since when the human beings start to think deeply. As the didn't have television, they did a lot of children... since when we had the television number of births have decreased constantly so we can say with no doubt that television is the best contraceptive... obviously I'm just kiddin' (you know, it's Sunday...)
Visse nel 14esimo secolo e fu uno dei più importanti poeti del suo tempo. Scrisse in Latino e in Italiano e questi sono alcune foto della casa dove visse i suoi ultimi anni di vita (affreschi e soffitti in legno sono originali). La televisione non esisteva e i ricchi si facevano dipingere i muri di casa per avere qualcosa da guardare Possiamo quindi affermare che la televisione era qualcosa di cui sentivamo il bisogno da quando l'essere umano ha cominciato a pensare profondamente. Siccome non avevano la televisione, facevano molti figli... da quando abbiamo la televisione invece il tasso di natalità è andato via via diminuendo, tanto che possiamo affermare con certezza che la televisione è il miglior contraccettivo... ovviamente sto scherzando (sapete com'è, è domenica...)

My digital camera has a romantic software.

That's for sure... I bought last month a Minolta Dimage 7i and I am trying to understand how it works... as I am not one of those who read manuals (too boring and then it's too easy to read the solutions, it's better to discover all the features by yourself ), sometimes I probably do things that I do not understand (and it doesn't happen only with the camera, it happens quite every day in my life). Ok, to cut short a long story, I took some sunset shots last week and the real sunset was like the one you see in the first image. All the other shots are something done by camera's software (and I think the software was developed by a teenager girl that like sunset ).
La mia macchina digitale ha un software romantico.
Poco ma sicuro... ho comprato un mese fa una Minolta Dimage 7i e sto cercando di capire come funzioni... siccome non sono uno che legge i manuali (troppo noioso e poi è come risolvere un cruciverba leggendo le soluzioni, non c'è gusto... ), qualche volta faccio cose che non capisco ( e questo non capita solo con la macchina digitale, ma praticamente ogni giorno della mia vita). Ok, per tagliare corto, ho fatto alcune foto di un tramonto e il tramonto com'era in realtà lo vedete nella prima immagine. Tutte le altre immagini sono un'elaborazione del software della macchina (che credo sia stato sviluppato da una ragazzina innamorata dei tramonti )
