LAND!!!!! TERRA!!!!!

Being almost 40, one of the things that I enjoy more is that I'm still moved when I see (hear, taste) some simple thing that I like. This land for instance... it makes me scream LAND!!!! just like a sailor of a Columbus' ship...  (that's one of the reasons because I think I am a very lucky man...)
A quasi 40 anni, una delle cose che mi piace di più è che riesco ancora ad emozionarmi quando vedo (o sento o assaggio) qualcosa di semplice che mi piace. Questa terra per esempio... mi fa venir voglia di gridare TERRA!!!! come un marinaio delle navi di Cristoforo Colombo... (questo e' uno dei motivi per i quali penso di essere un uomo molto fortunato...)

Another face / Un'altra faccia

At first sight these buildings looks old and poor, but I like to think to them as horizontal skyscrapes, full of life, joys and pains, laughs and tears, flavours and stinks. And could you figure out how many people across the years as lived there? 
A prima vista sembrano edifici vecchi e poveri, ma mi piace pensare che siano grattacieli orizzontali, pieni di vita, gioie e dolori, risate e pianti, sapori e puzza. E riuscite ad immaginare quanta gente ha vissuto lì ®el corso degli anni?

Taranto, the two seas city

The ancient city was situated on an island, which was joined by two bridges with the mainland, where the modern city was built. The islets S. Pietro and S. Paolo protect the bay, called Mar Grande, which is where the commercial port is. Another bay, called Mar Piccolo, is formed by the old city, and there fishing is flourishing.
But it is also a city with more faces... this is the first one...
La citta' antica e' su un isola collegata da due ponti alla terraferma , dove la citta' moderna e' stata costruita. Le isole di S. Pietro e S. Paolo proteggono la baia, chiamata Mar Grande, dove e' situato il porto commerciale. Un'altra baia, chiamata Mar Piccolo, e' circondata dalla citta' vecchia e l'attivita' di pesca e' molto florida.
Ma è ¡nche una città ¤alle molte facce.. questa è ¬a prima...
