And sweet to me is shipwreck in this sea.
This is a translation of the end of one of the greatest italian poem ever (Infinito by Giacomo Leopardi)... but I don't like to translate poems because you loose too much in the translation... in this case, if you read it in italian you could notice that all the vowels are involved in the sentence... and if you read only the vowels you will have a eiauaaèoeiueoae that sounds like a sweet and delicous music... like sunflowers...
Ok, too cut short a long story I had these nice pics of sunflowers to show you and I think this sentence is the most appropriate... (you will get more sunflowers in the next entries... and thanx to Buba for the idea...)
E' l'ultimo verso dell'Infinito di Leopardi ed è una frase che ritengo (immodestamente) molto appropriata alle foto di questi girasoli... questo verso ha una cadenza musicale eccezionale e se si leggono solo le vocali ne viene fuori una musica dolce e deliziosa... come i girasoli... (vedrete altri girasoli nelle prossime entrate... e grazie a Buba per l'idea...)

I mean, you know... if there are a lot of people (me, too) that likes b/w photos, why there are so few painters using only black and white...
Cioè, voglio dire... se ci sono così tante persone (come me) a cui piacciono le foto in bianco e nero, perchè ci sono così pochi pittori che usano solo il bianco e nero...

As Elena told us in her comment the weather in North Italy is not so hot at the moment. But in the centre and in the south is warm and hot, so if you have to come to Italy go there, you will probably find better weather than in the North... these pics was taken at the end of May... when everyone hoped this would have been a hot summer... sometimes hopes are better tha real life...
Come ci ha detto Elena nel suo commento le temperature nel nord Italia non sono molto calde per il momento. Ma nel centro e nel sud Italia è già estate, perchiò se dovete venire in Italia andate là, troverete tempo migliore che al nord... queste foto sono state scattate alla fine di maggio... quando tutti speravano che questa sarebbe stata un'estate calda... qualche volta le speranze sono migliori della vita reale...
